while i wouldn’t say that i have taken a truly good photo yet. i have at least learned to take decent photos with my lubitel 166b. i had two more rolls developed yesterday and while none of the photos were fantastic they were all close to decent. thus i am calling this goal “accomplished.”

today i picked up two more sets of processed film. without a loupe i can’t tell for sure but it looked like about half the shots were acceptable and a few of them may have actually been decent. i’ll scan the negatives tomorrow and know something then. if i have a few decent shots i’ll count this goal accomplished and move onto trying to take one photo that is actually good.

i just developed two more rolls of film and most of the shots were ruined by the airline security x-ray machine that they told me would hurt my film and let me search through my bag to remove it but i simply missed these two rolls. there were a few shots however that did survive. i liked a few of them. they’re not great but they are decent. if the two rolls of film that i turned in today have a couple of decent shots on them then i will count this goal as finished and them move on to trying to take a truly good photo rather than just a decent one.

it’s taken awhile but i finally have one photo that i like. of course, i’m still not to the point of being able to consistently take good photos with my lubitel (or any camera for that matter) but it’s a start.

i’ve developed two rolls of film and while i don’t believe i’ve taken a good picture yet with the lubitel i do believe that i am beginning to understand the thing a little more.

i’ve developed a roll of film from my lubitel but none of the photos were what i would call good. i’ll keep on trying.
