i’m changing this goal to “run a marathojn.” i just finished my first half-marathon and i’m now convinced that i could run a full marathon.

i finished running my second 5k earlier today and i will now start training for a 10k. this means i am one step closer to accomplishing this goal.
august 19th the club south runners will be hold ing a 5k. it’s the first 5k in baton rouge that i can find after my 5k training is finished (july 27th). after i run that i will start training for a 10k. the baton rouge mambo may be the soonest in february 2007 or club south’s half marathon (aka 21k) – decembr 10(maybe?).
i’ve been excercising and walking a good bit. my first goal is to start running a few 5k’s. i figure it’s a good enough start. the club south runners hold 5k’s all the time. so i’ve been running about a mile each day and walking a mile and a half
