(And then I bought a crewneck, half-price after Christmas, to go along with it!)
I am preparing another bag of Goodwill clothes- older things that have a lot of life left in them but that life should be elsewhere.

Welcomeback2shinrock kindly bought me a gift of a very Audrey fitted cardigan and a good black leather belt from Comrags. We nixed a Tokyo dress. Too bouffant on the skirt, not tight enough on the bodice.

I said ciao to shoulderpads and wraparound skirts. The box of old clothes was picked up this morning by a group that sells the stuff to Value Village and gives the proceeds to the Cerebral Palsy foundation.
Got an early Christmas present of a black cashmere turtleneck.

Wore a very Audreyesque black silk dress out downtown Friday afternoon….managed NOT to feel overdressed for once, merely well-dressed.

A good pair of investment sunglasses doesn’t hurt.
