I cracked it open and began reading passages for the sole purpose of cadence and wordplay. My first reaction was that it seemed impossible to track progress, but then progress isn’t necessarily the goal, exploration is. Exploration, and exhilaration of exploration!

My friend Thomas said that the best way to approach this book was to open it anywhere and begin reading a passage. The structure of the beginning and end seem to suggest that this may be appropriate for the rat.
