The ornament project/event was hard on my hands/wrists. I’ve had to brace them all day today because bending them at all is very painful. Though it is the weekend I cannot do any pottery, not even glazes. So many ideas, too many limitations.
And it’s beginning to show. My arms ache. My back hurts. My feet hurt. And my neck/shoulders are stiff and sore. I’m tired to the bone. And yes, I want a little cheese with my whine!
My hands and arms hurt. I haven’t found any exercise I can actually do without further injury except swimming, which is beyond my means right now. I need new glasses. I need a mammogram.
The last three nights I’ve slept without my braces and today my hands, wrists and arms screamed at me all day about it. I find this kinda scary.
The only way I have of doing this is to try to ignore it for now. If I take drugs, I can’t function. I can’t get surgery. So I act like I’m okay. But I’m not and I know I can’t keep it up indefinately.
I’ve missed my pre-work window to swim and will probably still be late as I’m waiting for BJ to go out. Maybe I can swim later today.
Which is good for me, but help! What do I do about my color-treated hair and the chlorine? I wear a cap but it still gets wet. Any ideas folks? (I don’t really want to wash it as often as I swim.)
And my doctor who didn’t argue with me when I told him I was in the early stages of a sinus infection. I’m 58, I know the difference between a cold and a sinus infection! He asked me a few questions and wrote the script and I am on the mend.
