5 parks… these days central park is my favorite. I love it on weekends when the tourists come out and you find something to do or watch or someone new to talk to every few feet, and i love it on weekdays when everyone is at work except for the nannies and the children they watch, and I can wander without much distraction and fall asleep in the grass.

7 when the subway conductor says something a little out of the ordinary, like “here’s to a wonderful Thursday. Stand clear of the closing doors, please,” and you know he’s trying to make his job more fun and interesting
