After only 4 years and a few months of living in NYC full time I finally walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. We were hanging around the house two weekends ago and I was bored and just made the decision out of nowhere – today we’re going to the bridge! It was late afternoon by the time we got there but it made for some amazing sunset pictures of the bridge and Manhattan. I felt a little touristy, I admit, but I figure if people come from all over the world to visit NYC and do things like walk across the BK bridge, I’d be remiss not to have those experiences myself. It was cool. The architecture is very awe inspiring. I remember watching a show on the History channel about how they made this bridge and it is unbelievable. Afterwards we hung out in Brooklyn in the park for a bit and then went back into Manhattan and had an amazing dinner at Blossom. A wonderful fall NYC day!
