I’m in the Navy and every 6 months we have to pass the Physical Readiness Test within standards otherwise, well, you don’t want to know…Truth is, I get a little bit anxious every time I have to run the PRT. So I’m pleased to announce that I passed all portions of the test: the run, the push ups and the crunches. What a relief, for another 6 months.

I’m on my first day towards my weekly goal. I rode my bike to work today, used the elliptical for 30 minutes and then ran on the treadmill for another 30 minutes. If I can put in an hour each time I’ll be well on my way towards reaching another associated goal. Total of 100 minutes of cardio today. Whoo hoo!
Biked for almost four hours today. Got good and sweaty. Plan to get on the elliptical for good measure later today.
Last week I started making the effort to exercise. Today I’m finally writing about it. I’m happy to just get moving again.
OK, every day I wake up with the plan of starting this goal today. Now its the middle of the week and I haven’t exercised vigorously once—OK, OK, I took a nice long walk on Sunday but it wasn’t vigorous. One option is to just remove it from my list but the truth is, its a goal I really do want to accomplish. I’ve got to fit it in somehow. Maybe I’ll fit it in by doing it first thing in the morning and combine it with another goal of taking one photo a day to represent my life. So far this plan of doing it at lunch is just not working and I’m getting frustrated. A co-worker finds it possible to exercise three times a day because she’s got to get down the weight and so do I but somehow I just can’t get motivated.
