So I’m a mom of a wonderful little boy. I am also 35 and in serious need of a party. There is one coming up: Halloween 2009, my man’s birthday is the 1st of November and the party we are invited to is partially his birthday party. There are two more birthday people and it’s a housewarming at the same time, plus it’s costume themed because of the date. And I know my costume so well in my head! It’s going to be so cool! But of course I can’t go shopping for the necessities unless I know Torin’s got a place to crash for that night. But who to ask? And a whole night, not just an evening! I mean, I would probably like to stay until about 2 or 3, that would be about night-bottle time for him, but to go and pick him up then would that be even more to ask for? To have somebody wait all evening and then until the wee hours of the morning to let me in in my (assumingly amazing) getup so I can pick up my little gem?
I dunno.
