speak more Spanish

Well, I’m not speaking Spanish more, but have figure out if I think in it more I might actually speak it more. It’s just weird to launch into a language with people who probably also speak English. But I’ve been studying the verb tenses while at work, so that’s got to count for something.

I spent two years on the Texas-Mexico border, thinking I would learn all the Spanish I could and then use it always. I don’t. I have a friend who speaks English as well as I speak Spanish. Sometimes she laughs at me, but we try. I’m the resident translator at work, but I’m afraid to tell people that I don’t really know all the verb tenses.
