a very glamorous potholder on saturday. Hardly a full baby blanket, but at least I dragged out the yarn and made something for the first time in months. yippee!
After 5 weeks and two days, the Little Fellow is home and well with his Mom and Dad. Bless his adorable little second cousin heart! Now, back to that blanket- lol.
Spent an hour or so crocheting last night so that maybe when Tyler comes home in a few weeks he’ll have something to keep him warm. I started it really wide though, so I may be doing more work than I planned on this.
due to some lung difficulties, but little Tyler is getting stronger every day. His blanket should be done ny the weekend if I am very diligent, which means I can still send it in time to have it serve as a “welcome home” gift. All positive vibes, prayers, candles, chants, or other personal blessings are welcome for the little second cousin of mine. I know his parents are looking forward to getting to hold him more once he recovers from the lung surgery and bringing him home as soon as possible.
By a month, so now we’re in full-on crunchtime. The little guy is doing well and was quite the screamer when he joined the world- good for a baby they thought might have lung problems! Hopefully I can finish up by the ned of the week and send it as a “Welcome Home” gift! My mom suggested I make him a first day of school outfit, as slow as I’ve been moving on this- lol.
I have crocheted a scarf for myself, tested out my new silk ball yarn, and gathered a pile of projects. All while the blanket sits 1/4 done. This baby’s coming in February, so I need to ramp it up.
and started over today- I’m about 1/4 of the way done on this one… it’s soft a delightful. Maybe grown-ups need baby blankets too. I could use one some nights.
she e-mailed over the sonagram pics today. I can’t believe my cousin (only two weeks younger than me) is about to be a Mom. i can’t even keep plants alive.
not due until February or March, so there’s still time. But, I would like to finish this up before school starts in the fall and I become a raving idiot with no soul struggling to finish law school.
