I had a poem accepted for publication 1 year ago

and then the magazine collapsed before they published it. But have no fear, I’m still working on submitting pieces here and there, applying to journalism school or an MFA program in creative writing for fall, etc. This goal is a great reminder to get out there and submit. I can’t let my 43things down, right?

sending some things out 2 years ago

I’m sending out some stories and poems to see about getting some publication credits and start writing as a professional. I’ve sent out about ten things and gotten my first rejection- I must be a real writer now… :)

It’s a long shot but I submitted my latest to a really great journal that’s known for getting back to people in a relatively speedy period of time. Fingers crossed, gang. I set my outside “exclusive” submission deadline at 11/5/05.
