so I went for another run today even though I am still tired from yesterday. I ran for about 30 min. total (with some walking spurts added). I am planning on going again 2 days from now…sometimes the hardest part is just getting out there.

so, my running partner from 6 months ago turned into a not so frequent thing which means I haven’t really motivated myself to go on my own at all. we went running together last week for the first time in about 3 weeks & I felt out of breath within 2 minutes. I felt pretty disappointed in myself. I decided I need to start going on my own much more often. earlier, I went to the park & ran an hour on my own…I did spurts of 30 second walking for every 5 minutes of running. And yes, at times I did feel like I was going to die. My goal for now is just to do 40 minutes non-stop at a decent pace.
I went running yesterday for the first time in a few months. I found a great running partner who’s pretty advanced(runs an hour 3-4x a week). I am motivated to keep running now that I found someone who willing to run with me & also encourage me even if I struggle.
Went running with a friend for 30 minutes earlier tonight. It was great to be outside & I just kept pushing myself even tho I was in paaaaain! nah, it really wasn’t that bad but after awhile my running turned into just dragging my feet at an accelerated speed. I’m still proud of myself nonetheless. I do feel like this is a goal I can actually keep up with.
I’m very excited today. I got fitted for running shoes & picked up a great pair (Mizuno). I have plans to go running with a coworker on Sunday night.
