Take a photo every day

We went to this cool music and art fest in Millenium Park today. It featured performers from all over Illinois, this picture is from the huge drum circle they had going. It was crazy fun and I played the shaker.

Look how bad my windows are,... I need my landlord to come though on his promises!

This is one in the set of fingerless gloves I’m making. I was so proud of myself to finish this! I’ve never made anything like this before. The wrists have cable stiching up them and the palm is bound off in Picot style (which means it comes to little points all along the edge).

This is a picture of “the bean” which is actually called the Cloud Gate in Millenium Park, it reflects the city skyline and in this picture you can see the Pritzker Pavillion among other things.

We went to this weird pizza place that is more like a pizza pot pie. They cook it over a bowl and when they serve it they flip it onto your plate and pull out the bowl. You are sort of left with a bread shell and a lot of pizza goo in the middle.

I took my parents to the Notebaert Nature Museum, this is the Butterfly Haven. It was amazing, thousands of butterflies of all kinds everywhere, just flying all around you. Great experience and one of the most affordable museums in Chicago.
