So this hasn’t been going so well recently, especially since I have started rehearsals for the next show. I am signing up for a gym membership on Saturday and am hoping that I can take spinning classes before work a couple times a week.
So in order to ensure that my mornings are effective I am going to set some goals for them:
Monday: Work-Out
Tuesday: Write or Read
Wednesday: Work-Out
Thursday: Clean anything that needs cleaning
Friday: Wildcard!
I got up at 6:30 today, and easily too. As soon as I heard the alarm, I didn’t question it, I just got up and thought about what I’d like to accomplish. 6:30 is good for this week, next week I’ll creep it back to 6:15.
I really need to start doing this, I feel better when I’m not rushed to get out the door to work. I would have time to excersize, eat a good breakfast, pack a lunch and maybe even write a bit before starting my day. I think that padding my day before work with something just for me would make the 8 hours of shuffling papers a bit more bearable.
Starting Monday, move my wake up time to 6:30 and work out a bit and maybe move it a little earlier each week until I can get it to a consistent 6:00am. That would give plenty of time for the things I like to do. I could take pictures of the sunrises, drink tea and think about (and work on) my projects and goals.
