have multiple streams of income

Besides working full time I want to be able to sell my photography, through not only inmages, but cards and postcards. I also want to sell some knitting and some jewelry and wirework, such as shawl pins, once I work the kinks out. Even only an extra $100 a month would add up a lot.

the game plan:

buy photoshop
finish a bunch of photogs
make a cafepress site
get an email address
create a website
get business cards printed with the cafe press site and web address
start selling art

I got commissioned to make a sweater tonight. A step in the right direction!

get photshop so I can print out some pictures and try to sell them
get a printer or find a place that will print my pictures
set up a cafe press page
set up a website
come up with some cleaver knitting projects that I could sell
take more photos so I can sell more
get a part time job so I can become debt free faster

I need to find a way to make an additional $700 or so a month. This will give me some spending cash and pay the mortgage on the house while I am in CA. I would like to start selling some photography, I would like to have an easy kind of mindless part time job. I would like to get paid to write, maybe tutor or teach a class.
In an odd way I am going to be cutting a huge chunk of my monthly expenditure by moving. I am going to be able to ride my bike to work all year and to walk to the grocery store, so I am going to get rid of my car. Thats a savings of $150 a month in gas, $60 a month in insurance. I wont have to pay for my health care, so theres another $75. I will be in an apartment that will include utilities, so that will save $250 or so a month, and I cut my phone bill by $30. That totals to: $565. So with an extra $700, and the money I save, I will have either my apartment or my mortgage and my monthly bills paid for.
