Added a small bottle of listerine to the bag. Its not only mouthwash, but can be used to wash out cuts in a tight situation. I also added a package of saran wrap. I figured it could be used to create a shelter between two trees or as a wrapping around an injured arm. I am having a hard time finding D-cell batteries for our flashlight.

As part of our orientation for flow class we were given a bag that will be perfect for holding the emergency preparedness kit.
Im looking forward to getting this done at the end of the week and towards getting rid of the shoe boxes under the bed with cans of tuna in them.

Stuffed two shoe boxes under the futon today. One has some cans of tuna, (adding more food slowly) and the other has aluminum foil, dental floss, matches, a lighter, candles, a swiss army knife, a couple of paper coasters (for starting bigger fires) and hand sanitizer in it.

I didnt realize that NG was so freaked out about us having an earthquake until we started talking about it, so I am going to put together a kit for him.
The kit is going to contain:
water
myoplex bars
a crowbar
glow sticks
flahslight with extra batteries
bleach
hand sanitizer
painkiller
dustmasks
and a tupperware container with cash in it.

Its going under the futon for safe keeping.
