I’ve felt pretty crappy for the last few weeks. I’m on new allergy mess and they give me a sore throat. I started baking sour dough bread again and I think it is too much for me to handle. Monday I had trouble getting out of bed and all day yesterday I had chest pains. They put me on steroids for a week and then if I’m not feeling better I have to get a chest X-ray and pulmonary functioning done.
I miss running, I hope that soon we figure this out and I can get my asthma under control.

So after switching meds the new stuff doesnt seem to be doing anything to help. Its been two months and I can run for about 7 minutes at a pace of 9.1 min/mile before I am pretty much done. I can get a couple of sprints in after walking for a bit, but I cant run much more than ten minutes.
After a six-month hiatus from running I went out today. I made it 10 min 11 seconds before my left leg cramped up (all the way down the bottom of my foot). Once I stopped, I was all wheezy again, so I pulled my bagpipe chanter out when I got home.
My pace was a miserable 11 something min per mile.
No wonder I am wheezing up a storm. It was slow, slow slow, but I have new shoes now and I feel pretty good. Into the ice bath I go, glad it is nice out tonight.
Why is it that I always want to run when I can’t? 11 pm. Sitting at my desk at work. On a date. I wish I had the desire when I actually had the time.
Went out for my first run in 3 months. It was hard, but I am really glad that I did it.
Now, I just need to stop wheezing like Darth Vader.
tried to run tonight, out back on the railroad tracks, but I just felt like jello. Everything hurt. Managed to make it around the block and back. But I did swim.
So I ended up running on the treadmill. I hate the freakin treadmill. The room tonight just got too hot, and I had to stop after 20 minutes to cool down. I am going to go swimming now before my head explodes from the heat.
So I’m stuck in a hotel located in a mall parking lot for a week for work. I so want to go for a run. I went down to the tiny fitness center, but the room was really stuffy and someone was already running. I want to run outside, but do I really want to run around the mall? I was spying out the window, and it looks like there is a road behind the hotel, but I don’t know the area and don’t know how safe it is.
