Chaos this weekend, gardens been left unattended for 2 weeks… but everything but the strawberries looks good (they would have done well with some water…). Peonies are lovely!

Well, I guess no-one expects a perfect Garden of Eden in no time. My goal is to get better at colours and compositions. This years goal it to have flower beds that look ok, not half empty as they have done up til now…. And, I also wan’t to get better at veggies. It’s hard, the soil is like clay. Only sugar snaps and potatoes will grow there. So far I have realised that since I love sugar snaps and potatoes that’s fine. But.. I would love to grow carrots and onions and beetroots etc. so.. I will have to mix the clay with sand. It’s gonna break my back but might be worth it. That’s for autumn though, this year I stick to familiar veggies, just planted them (spring has been very cold up this year)!!
