Keep in touch with people

I’m adding to this goal… I want to write an e-mail every morning while I eat breakfast. How’s that for multi-tasking?

I found out that this friend of mine, that I had actually kind of lost touch with, just died in a helicopter crash in Nepal. I can’t stop thinking about him and about dying young. A couple of weeks ago I heard about these other 2 young guys that I knew who died in an accident in Africa. It just really makes me think that feeling of invincibility that goes along with youth. And as corny as it sounds, I really think that you’ve got to live life in the present and appreciate others while you can.
