What is it with me?

too bad he has an effing girlfriend… other than that, it was the best semi-date I’ve ever been on (and let there be no qualms about it, the semi-date is one thing I do well).

I think that’s what it’s going to take. And the thing is that I’ve got guts when it comes to everything else. In fact I just picked up and moved here and now I’m sitting at home on a Friday night even though there’s this sweet, funny guy at the local bike shop with whom I would really like to sit down and have a cup of coffee. But can I really just ask this guy out?

It seems like I have this odd idea that I shouldn’t be the one to ask a guy out and a guy can’t be all skeezy and ask me out, so the only real way know each other first, right? But that sure as hell doesn’t work either, because then you have the whole friend issue to deal with. Aargh!
