find another job

The tutoring gig that I signed up to do back in September is finally getting started up, so that’ll be a nice little bit of extra money and it will keep me somewhat busy over Christmas break, I hope. I also might have a Saturday thing going on at a florist down the street, which would be really good—and probably a lot of fun too.

Okay, so I’m a lazy bum and I haven’t really gotten out there to apply even though Thanksgiving has come and gone and most places hiring for the holidays will have done so already. I did apply to 2 places though… and I swear I’ll actually work at it this weekend.

Yes, so it was a rough day… but I always knew I’d need to get another job. I’ll settle for a second job, but in an ideal world I would find an actual teaching job that pays me a living wage instead of this bullshit that barely even covers my rent. So really it comes down to money, as always, and even though I had a bad day, I don’t really hate my life (or even my current job).
