Cosplay

So I cosplayed for the first time as Nekozawa from Ouran, though I feel as though it wasn’t as good as it should be.
I find great joy in cosplaying and having a fun time posing and such, though I want to do a better job at acting and playing the part.
Maybe for the next convention I will do a gothic lolita or school girl…that way I don’t have to figure out how to play the role as much, and I can still have fun… :)

Kawaii Kon is in April, and I’m about 80% done with one of my outfits, and 20% done with the other.
I figured since this is my first time cosplaying, I’d stay with something simple. Therefore, I am cosplaying Nekozawa from Ouran High School Host Club and Suzumiya Haruhi from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. And I really, REALLY want to do Lelouch from Code Geass (image attached – the one in the foreground) but that would require more time… >>;

I will also have to wear a skirt for Haruhi. Gah. I never wear skirts, so I’m kind of nervous/hesitant. >>; I think I may get a slightly longer skirt, so it isn’t so weird…

But alas, I am going to cut my hair for these cosplay. Kind of sad because long hair has many advantages, and I’ve had long hair since I was 5, but hey, it’s just hair, right? It can always grow back. ;D

I hope I can finish them all in time. I want to have enough time to finish them, but I want Kawaii Kon to come now! I can’t wait! ><
