What if White Male Heterosexuals were the minority? What if the women outnumbered the men, and they “had the power”? What if most people were homosexual and of other races, and what if that was considered “the norm”?

I’ve been thinking first about the origins of skin pigmentation. One theory is that our skin colors evolved within the climates we lived in. That may be so, however, the theory suggests that people from warmer climates had darker skin, and people from colder climates had lighter skin. But, there are some inconsistencies to that. For example, why do natives of the northern most parts of Canada have darker skin than the natives of France? And why do natives of the Middle East have lighter skin than natives of southern Africa?
And the issue of skin colr got me thinking….. What if interracial breeding became so common, that people all began to have similar skin? Now, that might lead to less racist attitudes, but would such a change be welcome to other more general aspects of life?
Even the most prejudice, “set in their ways” people desire a certain amount of perpetual change, a certain amount of diversity. Without that life would become stagnant and boring. The human mind is not designed to think that “as long as everything is exactly the same, it will be all hunky dory.” People (whether they admit or not.) want changes, they want differences.
We all have different personalities and something unique to contribute to the grand scheme of things.
