ratatouille with fresh garden eggplant, tomatoes, zuchinni, and green peppers..garlic, onions,fresh ground pepper, and sea salt
over steamed sweet brown rice

brown rice spagetti with fresh lemon juice and garlic- cook spagetti/drain. Saute garlic in olive oil. Add drained spagetti and saute for a short time to heat in garlic. Take from heat and drizzle with lemon juice and fresh basil.

banana smoothies-unsweetened plain yogurt, unsweetened plain soymilk, freshly ground flax seeds, and frozen bananas whipped up!! YUMM!!

i love the smell of summer!
..the pungent smell of tomatoes bursting off the vines
...the sweet peaches fallen to the ground awaiting to be put into homemade frozen yogurt for an afternoon treat!
.. the intense aroma growing daily as the figs ripen on the lush green trees hanging heavily to the ground just a hand’s length away outside my doors..
..the deep earthy smell of raindrops on the stone walkways as the steam rises following the afternoon thunderstorm
..sweet sweat, dirt, and sticky watermelon juice on a child’s neck ,reminders of a day at play in the gardens with friends
..grass freshly mown in the neighboring farmfields, and the sweet smell of haybales drying in the summer sun..
..the rotting foliage of the corkscrew willows dipping their arms along the cool water’s edge..
..and the clean scent of crisp white cotton sheets bleached with fresh lemon juice and warm sunshine billowing on the line..
