I’m making progress on this. I’ve only had pizza once since New Year’s and I have made myself quit bringing chips and sweets home from the grocery store. I’m also learning portion control, which helps keep calories in check. I’m not losing a lot of weight, but that’s fine, that was only the secondary goal – mostly, I just want to be more healthy. So far, so good!

Vegetarian does not necessarily equal healthy, as my diet proves. I need to eat less cheese and more actual vegetables, and cut out caffeine and potato chips altogether. Since moving into my own place in September (hooray!), I have found it much easier to eat almost exclusively all-natural and/or organic foods. Now to balance that low-chemical diet a little more sensibly.
