The lesbian community in my area feels really terribly small and incestuous. I haven’t even dated all that much, and yet it feels like I have already been out with (or shot down by) everyone I would consider dating. But hope springs eternal – maybe I just need to think of some new ways of meeting people. I do really want to build a strong, permanent, deep, and loving connection with someone who wants to build it with me, and hope that that can happen someday.
