It has been written and I successfully defended it a couple of weeks ago. I’ve turned it into the proof-reader to make sure that everything is formatted correctly.
I can almost mark this one as done.

It’s about 60 pages long. Defense is in mid-October. The thing is completely written, but I need to edit some things still, and add a little to a few sections. My committee keeps giving me more suggestions. I already feel like I’ve changed it a million times. :)
Definately a rewarding experience, but one of the harder things I’ve done. I’ve noticed I perceive anything that seems to take a long time as difficult because I am so impatient about things.
I’m looking forward to being done with it.
After the literature review and search for and modification of a research instrument that took forever, I’m finally collecting data.
And thanks to this experience, I felt confident today joining in on another person’s research project.
This is a lot of work, but fun in a way.
...maybe I’ll feel guilty about being here instead of working on it.
Seriously, I’ve been disciplined so far, and I enjoy writing. It’s just such a daunting task that I’m worried I’ll lose motivation to work on it.
It must be completely researched and written by early October in order for me to graduate in December of this year, and I’m determined to graduate on time.
