read the classics

Came in the post today. Bloody hell, it’s a big book. Looks like i’m gonna have to be quite ambitious to read that. When i finally get to it.

...came in the post today. It won’t get read for a while though. I promised myself I would finish the books I already own. So It’s going in a box under my bed until I’m ready.

I went into a book shop and they had a whole section devoted to the classics. This is good and bad because I know a few more books but that means I’m gonna run out of money, lol.

From some of the books people have listed on here, I’ve bid for a few on ebay. I went down to the library and they don’t seem to have that many of the books that I wanted to read which is unusual because they are classics. Well, I shall have to see what I can make of all this. I’m feeling slightly overwhelmed by this goal. Its going to take me a few years. I’m crazy to take this on.

What are the defined classics. Is it whatever we think they are? A Personal choice? Or is there a list.
