A Year and Forty Three Things 2 years ago

A year ago today I found this site. Since then I ran three half marathons, had the courage to date a guy who I thought was out of my league, left a profession that I no longer enjoyed, and gained a little more faith in myself. Although my life still isn’t exactly as it might be in my fantasies, I’m enjoying it.

better than falling deeply in love 2 years ago

Until today the title of this goal was fall deeply in love.

Along with falling deeply in love would come companionship, joy, contentment, etc. I was looking for someone to motivate me to turn my life around. Someone to motivate me to reach my full potential. Instead of waiting for some deep passionate love to change my life, I’m choosing to motivate myself. I can enjoy my own company, notice the little things in life that bring me joy, and be content with what is. So my goal is to just choose to be the person I thought love would help me become. I’ll choose to be more confident, witty, thoughtful, loving, etc.
