List 100 things I love about my husband.

39. He makes me feel sexy.

40. He complemented the stuffed spinach recipe that I made up and requested that I make it again.

41. When I go to bed after him, he reaches out to cuddle me in his sleep.

38. He gets along with my parents, who are visiting this week.

37. He ironed my shirt while I was getting ready for work in the morning.

35. He has been so supportive during these past few months of unemployment.
36. He is very warm, both in personality and body temperature.

34. He packed a lunch for me today and included a candy bar as a dessert surprise. Then, instead of letting me find it when I opened my lunch, he told me about it when he handed the lunch bag to me.

33. I was running late this morning and hadn’t packed a lunch, so he gave me his sandwich.

31. When I’m frustrated with my job and wish I could quit and design knitwear instead, he doesn’t think I’m crazy and instead figures out how soon it could be a real option. (I don’t know that I would really want to do it, but it is nice to have a husband who would be willing to help make daydreams into reality.)

32. Similarly, when I feel that changing a career would be a waste of my degree, he points out that even if the only thing I do with my formal education is to fund our retirement accounts in the early part of our marriage, it is still worth it and not a waste.

29. I ran out of packing tape and he ran out to get me some more, even though it is after 11 at night.
30. He started a load of laundry tonight after getting chocolate on my shirt, even though I would have been willing to take my chances with stains.

25. He makes sure I’m awake and out of bed before he leaves for work. (I oversleep if I’m not careful.)
26. He encourages my hobbies. (He went to several grocery stores this past week collecting onion skins for me.)
27. It’s kind of cute when he nods off on the couch in the evening.
28. He reaches out to hold my hand when we are out walking.

24. He lets me have the last serving of leftovers (Today it was four-cheese pasta!) when it rightly belongs to him.
