Wow, I’ve been away from 43t for quite a while!
Anyway, the past couple of weeks I had a bit of a health kick, and have been going for a 20-30 min jog every couple of days. Ideally I’d be going every day, so I’m working up to that.

Anyway, the past couple of weeks I had a bit of a health kick, and have been going for a 20-30 min jog every couple of days. Ideally I’d be going every day, so I’m working up to that.
For the past few days, I’ve been at home at my parents’ place. My sister and I have been working out to one of her dance DVDs each night.
I’m so proud that I am actually sticking to this goal!
Just completed today’s workout. Feels great to work up a bit of a sweat. Pain is good!
I have already put this goal into action. I think that’s the key with many goals that we challenge ourselves with. It is all too easy to say ‘I want to do such and such a thing, starting from tomorrow/next week/next month’ and then never get around to doing it. Instead, I have found it better not to give myself the comfort of just one more day and say ‘This is it, your life as you knew it is over – consider this thing changed, and changed right now,’ even if it’s only something small.
So, today I did work out for about half an hour. I don’t know exactly how long, because it was only about half way through that I thought to myself, ‘Self – you should put this on 43things as a way to keep yourself accountable.’
