It’s been a tough time of late and I’m really struggling to get up even at the relatively late time I already do rise each morning. Becomes more and more of a rush for the bus by day, and I feel guilty for my friends who have to get up at stupid o’clock to come to college, I already get to sleep to a decent time. Obviously staying up so late isn’t helping, but I’m just putting this all down to it being hard times lately, really gonna give this a go once I’m back to normal. Mornings are awesome.

I’d really love to achieve this one, but am struggling so far. Perhaps it’s just not in my nature to be a ‘morning person’, but on the occassions when I have been up early, working as the sun rises and the birds are singing, it’s really lovely. Much nicer than watching it get gradually darker and gradually later. I can concentrate much better after a good sleep, once I’m up and about, whether working or not – in the summer when it gets light in the mornings again I’d like to get up earlier to go running before college. I’d get much more sleep this way, too. I’ve started doing college work at the end of the day so that more of it gets done earlier… should see some progress soon. :)
