grow my hair long

A couple of guys at college suggested the idea of doing a sponsored headshave for charity. Somewhat reluctant to lose my ever-growing hair, but thinking it was a great idea I went ahead with it, and we raised a fair bit =D

Hair wasn’t really getting ‘long’, just bigger and more curly. The photo pretty much shows the extent of it, not to mention the fear before the scissors and shavers were viciosuly taken to it…

Rest assured I shall be growing it again and I’ll see how that turns out :)

Hair is going curly at the ends and, well, in general just looks a mess in general. Will succumb to my inner emo and get it straightened soon, and maybe thinned out a bit, and see what it looks like after that…is worryingly beginning to look like a mullet at the back though, haha. Still, I am undeterred!

I’ve always had fairly short hair but I’ve decided to grow it this time. Last got it cut in May last year, but I’ve had it thinned out a bit since in about November, not really made it shorter. I’m informed that I’m at the ‘mad professor’ stage where there’s lots of hair, but it isn’t particularly long yet (see my picture for an idea). Anyway, it’s something I want to try to see how it looks, even if just once anwyay. It’s harder to tame though, and fringe gets in my eyes too much for my liking, but not about to give up!
