I’m now living in Newbury, Berkshire, England. I arrived at Heathrow at 6:25 or so this morning, and now I’m here in my new place. It’s real nice.

...booked. I leave Christchurch bound for Auckland tomorrow, then I leave Auckland on Monday, and am heading off to London via Sydney and Bangkok.
Wow, I’ll finally be able to close out this goal :-)
I’m very nearly there. I received Entry Clearance from the British High Commission in NZ here today, so that’s cool. Now I just need flights sorted and I’m gone. I’m hoping to leave Christchurch in a couple of days (less than 48 hours), have a couple of nights in Auckland, and then wing my way to sunny Newbury (via Heathrow Airport). I hope to hear back soon on how we’re going to sort these flights. They are provided as part of my transfer, and of course, I get to go business class. And I’m a platinum level frequent flyer, and my points are about to expire – so I’m hoping whichever member of the OneWorld alliance I fly with has the good sence to give me a first class upgrade – you know, for being a good customer :-)
company (GMAC) flicked me an email last week. I need to print it out, sign it, scan the signed copy and email it back to them. Then they can release my details to all the 3rd parties to start to sort stuff out… It’s all happening!
...promising. Got a call last night from a guy in the UK. Apparently a job offer is winging its way over to me. Woo hoo!
on my get a job in europe goal at the moment. Come the end of feb, if it looks like nothing is materialising on the job front, then I’ll start to pursue this goal independently. Hope I don’t have to do that…
