We’ve set aside $750 already for this trip . . . another month and we could probably book the train tickets!

Got a budget and a plan 22 months ago

We’ve carved out a chunk of our biweekly paycheck to save up for a week-long vacation, and should have the funds together as soon as this Halloween. It’s not clear to me whether we’re more likely to go this fall (my initial thought) or hold out until the first part of next year (which seems to be what my belovéd is leaning towards).

And we’re most likely travelling by train, just to make this the coolest trip ever.
