Have a copy in translation. Yes I could download it for free then I wouldn’t be able to read it leisurely in a bubble-bath like the sybarite that I am.

I get all emotional when I read the Ancient Indian Epics. Probably shouldn’t mention that in public- but wtf people are gonna think I’m weird anyway…..

I’ve always wanted to read the Mahabharata in Sanskrit and I’ve found some excellent local classes in Sydney after failing miserably at the crappy ones at university about 15 years ago.

I’ve also found the complete unabridged versions in translation at the Gutenberg Library;

But I don’t know what the translations are like. The abridged versions always just leave me wanting more…...
