Reading a book from my stash and the book club book is ok, but reading extra stuff – I think I’ll cut that and just work on one from the stash a month. Anything else is a bonus. 81 to go!

I have alot of books I haven’t read. When I decluttered my workroom (where my bookcases are) I sorted out the read from unread and counted 87 unread books. Since then I’ve read 4. 83 to go! OMG! Plus I belong to a book discussion group, and the others have read such interesting books which aren’t in my ‘to be read’ pile… To achieve this goal, each month I will:
-Read one book from my ‘to read’ pile,
-Read the discussion group book,
-Borrow a book from the library.
Three books a month is totally do-able for me. Any extra time I have each month I will devote to the ‘to read’ pile. Otherwise, according to my calculator, if I read one unread book a month it will take me 6 years and 9 months to achieve this goal!
