see snow

to fulfilling this goal recently. One of my cousins goes skiing every year, and this year she rented a big chalet and invited me along as her guest to keep her company, as she can’t ski much anymore. It was also supposed to be a treat for me to make up for missing out on the holiday I was planning for myself last year before I got sick. Unfortunately I am still not well enough to be away from home even for overnight. A friend of my cousin’s ended up going in my place. And apparently they all had a wonderful time.

I’m lucky to live in a climate which doesn’t suffer from huge extremes in temperature, but just once I’d like to see snow – and make a snowman, a snow angel, and have a snowball fight before going home to warmer pastures.
