Today I went out to the mall to buy a book for my dad’s birthday, and to look for a shirt to wear to an awards ceremony.
I have a tricky-to-match skirt that’s shiny, and purple or blue, depending on how it catches the light. When I went out, not only were there a ridiculous number of blue shirts available, but the last store I went into had a nice style of shirt, in purple OR blue, for exactly the amount of money I had left after buying the book.
I thought I would have to wait until later in the week to buy a shirt, but now I’m all ready to go!

Last week, I bought fries to go from a little diner-type place in the mall, and on the way home, I realized that they had given me a medium, when I had ordered (and paid for) a small.
Today, I was getting colour photocopies made, and due to an error, the first one got printed onto that fancy photo paper, instead of the regular stuff. Since it was their error, I was only charged the regular price.
Today, I was feeling sad, and wrote this livejournal entry:

The Weather Network website says it’s 5 degrees out, but when I got out there, it was definitely much warmer than that.
