Take in a stray

Actually he was an abandoned dog. Gorgeous Golden Retriever/ Yellow lab mix… just showed up at my house one day, he had a collar but no tags and he looked like he’d been dumped. He was really dirty and had matted fur, and really thin like he’d been on his own for at least a few days… he seemed confused, like he was nowhere near home. Just a young dog too… less then a year probably. It made me sad and angry that anyone could just dump such a sweet dog in the middle of nowhere. We made some “found dog” signs but no one ever responded… didn’t really think they would. and that’s how Henry came to be the 3rd dog in my house. My German Shepard god-knows-what-else mut didn’t care, my Great Dane/ Blood Hound/ spaniel(?) had his nose bent out of shape for awhile, but they all seem to be getting along well now. It was worth it for sure!
