Fell off the wagon... Or is it "got on the wagon"? 22 months ago

The holidays combined with a long visit from my long distance girlfriend made me practically swear off the gym. Well, no more. Time to get back in on the action!

Last week, I worked out twice… Not my goal!

I used to be able to work out at 3pm with coworkers, but my company recently decided that it was hurting the ability for everyone to communicate – so, I have to work out during lunch now! Which is sort of okay, because it forces me to bring in lunch on days I want to work out. Or I can always go after work. As for yesterday and today, I brought in food and worked out during lunch. I wonder if I can keep this up – I sort of like eating out with friends every so often.

This week has been pretty crazy at work but luckily the YMCA is closed all week! Kind of two good excuses to not work out… But I want to work out even when it’s difficult to. Hopefully I’ll force myself to jog tomorrow.

I’ve exercised three times this week and will hit the gym again today. That’s four days this week. If I can do three next week (including labor day!), I’ll consider this goal done. My work lets me take an hour to hit the gym every day, I just need to be sure that I can stick around for that extra hour.

I’ve hit the YMCA last Thursday & Friday, and kept up the trend today. My goal is exercise every day this week, if not at the YMCA than with soccer (I have a game Tuesday night) or ultimate frisbee.
