Eavesdropping in the name of practise 4 years ago

I have been playing my italian tapes for a few days now. Last night I practised a bit at dinner with Jeremy and then, when he called a friend from Italy, had him use speaker phone so I could hear!

I have a set of tapes, at least three books, more books and tapes available in the city library and a husband that speaks fluent italian. I also attended a second level class.

So far I can only speak in present tense and my vocab is limited. This week I want to play my italian tapes every day.
