First attempt 4 years ago

In 2004 I planned to spend Christmas with my parents-in-law who live in California. We checked out the cabins at Lake Tahoe where there would be even MORE snow.

By December they had moved to Florida. Christmas was fun, but no snow. The main decorations we alligators and flamingos with Santa hats on!

Why? 4 years ago

Until 2004 I had only experienced a Southern hemisphere Christmas. I love Christmas in the summer and it would be hard to imagine the occasion without the smell of mangos. However, I will eat the winter-style food and sent card with snow on them so would love to experience the ‘real’ thing.
