Why I consider this done... 3 years ago

I never stay up until the early hours surfing the web anymore.
I look forward to getting into bed (and hence update 43 things less)!
I may not always get 8 hours sleep, but I usually do, and make up for it when I don’t.
I feel much less tired during the day.
I now hate feeling sleepy during the day and look forward to lovely sleeps :)

I am sleeping fantastically again :) AND going to bed on time.

Have missed one day out of the last five (seven and a half – not too much less). With the Easter break I have even had MORE than eight hours lately. Feeling so not-tired and sometimes waking before the alarm – but not getting up before the alarm :)

Overall I have done well with this goal. I will try my best to remember accurately:
Thursday 19 – yes
Friday 20 – yes
Saturday 21 – yes
Sunday 22 – definately no (4-5 hours)
Monday 23 – I think so
Tuesday 24 – no
Wednesday 25 – woke up a bit sick from a few late nights, but got in 8 that night
Thursday 26 – yes
Friday 27 – almost
Saturday 28 – yes
Sunday 29 – almost (7.5)

I’ll count it as seven…

I have been doing this for almost two weeks now. I go to bed at 11 pm and wake up at 7 am. However, I don’t often fall asleep as soon as I get in bed – so I think I’ll bring it closer to 10:30 pm this week…

Tuesday night: not looking good… it is midnight, going to bed NOW



What bedtime? 4 years ago

I recently realised don’t get 8 hours sleep as I don’t have a bedtime. My evening wander along like this: I wait until I get bored. Then have a shower. Then get preoccupied with something, a book, the internet etc. Then get to bed really late.

I am going to try and get to bed by 10:30 from Sunday night until Thursday night each week.
