Dejunk my space

More items sold, $120 made, and clutter walking out the door. I used some of the dollars made to by more Tupperware from the modular range, via ebay, and have decluttered my kitchen cupboard even more.

The lamps sold and were taken away on Sunday!

The remainder of the day was spent cleaning out kitchen cupboards (a large box of things for charity resulted), a cabinet (that has been taken to storage and I’ll organise for a charity to pick it up), a cull of extra books in the shelf (bookcrossing/charity?).

Bought some gorgeous lemon storage boxes from kikki.k to put all my bags/hats/scarves in, so their not draped everywhere.

Straightened up the wardrobe so everything is in coats/jackets/dresses/skirts/pants kind of order.

Feeling much more organised :)

Have sorted more clothes for charity and put them in the car to be dropped off.

Took the fan to the storage unit on the weekend where it can stay for the weekend.

Listed some lamps on ebay that are just taking up too much space.

I cleared out two more bags of clothes and added them to the ones in the car (see previous enteries). Jeremy and I drove to see friend’s mother, who was going to got through them and send some to family overseas and drop the rest off for charity. BUT, when we got there she no longer needed them.

Depressed with the thought of driving around for another six months with clothes in the car, now even filling the back seat, we prayed we would find a charity drop off place. A few minutes later we pulled up at the traffic lights behind a large truck that was from Anglicare. Ecstatic, we followed the truck to its next stop – at a clothing bin – and emptied the car of all the clothes!!

Still to go: extra books, ornaments, and some furniture in storage.

The bags are still in the car… and in an embarrassing incident the valet at a hotel Jeremy and I stayed at tried to bring them all up to our room.

Also need to release all books registered to bookcrossing that I don’t want to keep. There are around two boxes of them.

Three bags of clothes sorted and ready to go to charity. Unfortunately, these are now crowding the back of the car :)

The bookshelves were bursting with books at all angles and ornaments shoved in between. A second group of shelves was full of everything except books. They have both been dejunked, with the books neatly sorted and a tasteful number of ornaments displayed.
