It occured to me that a moped is a little selfish since it is a one person only system. shouldn’t I get something that my girlfriend would want to ride? she lets me drive her car so why wouldn’t I get something that she could feel comfortable taking to work. Also, since I bought a full size mini from an unknown manufacturor it is really risky to get the performance parts, which I like. I guess another option is to just get a targa or one of those european looking scooters. just a thought.

I found an informative web site that shows basic maintanence and trouble shooting for mopeds. when the weather is nice I will go out and try these things. also looks like I need to recharge my battery. (maybe just give it an initial charge.) I will have to get some tools and take off the pieces in order to do that. I also think I should replace the gastank for something metal with a lock instead of the cheap plastic it is now.
I think that I will have to get the electric starter running before I mess with getting a turbo muffler or large air intake thingy. If I can’t tget the engine to start easily then I will have to buy a new one.
A friend of mine is a Harley rider and he can probably help me out with some basic stuff when I am ready.
after it is all fixed up I am going to get a plate that says “125 MPG”.
