This is one of those things that I always think will happen “next year.” I’ve been thinking and planning for this since third grade, so it’s time I actually plan to do it. Not next year, but the year after, hopefully.

I had a hiking partner and all the equipment a couple of years ago and was ready to go, but plans fell through. Ended up going to college instead.

I’m hoping to make contact with people who have done all or part of the AT, just to talk about it.

I’ll be part of the class of 2008 perhaps. Northbound. Anyone else planning on being out there at that time?
