What it is: Free camping for a month to six weeks in the summer with only 5 hours of work per week (restocking toilet paper, making smalltalk with the new campers, etc). I was going to do this a couple of summers ago, but I was hired at El Lago, which was a much bigger experience.
This is typically a volunteer position for retired people, but young’uns can do it. I don’t plan to wait until retirement, but I should wait for a few years, either until I have had decent self-defense training or until I convince someone to do this with me.
