I had read “The Bible’s Greatest Stories” by Paul Roche, which was very readable, surprisingly thorough way to get to the bible. Unfortunately, since the focus was on stories, some of the New Testament got short shrift. While Roche did a great job combining the gospels into a readable narrative, nothing after Acts got covered, as the book ends with Paul being shipwrecked in Malta. So I’ll give the whole new testament a read and broaden my knoweldge of Christianity.
